Lavanda Bed &Breakfast is hidden in the serene Rhodope mountains of Southern Bulgaria. Situated in the architecturally significant village of Kovatchevitsa, Lavanda is a perfect escape only a couple of hours from major cities yet millennia away from the fast pace of urban life.
Lavanda Bed&Breakfast is built in the traditional Kovatchevitsa style, using local stone and ancient techniques to recreate the experience of old bucolic life. This rustic façade is complemented with all the elements of modern comfort that will make your stay enjoyable and effortless.
There is a certain pleasure in knowing that after a long hike in the mountain, you can take a long hot shower, wrap yourself with a luxurious towel and stretch yourself on a comfortable bed before a home-made meal.
Lavanda Bed&Breakfast is meant to be a home away from home and its common areas are designed as such of a typical house. Guests are encouraged to roam around the kitchen, grill in the yard, play games in the tavern or just relax by the fireplace or on one of the terraces (poton) overlooking the village and the mountain. The house has three guest rooms, each with unique theme and design. Locally sourced materials such as adobe, wood and stone are used to create a vibrant rustic style. The traditional design incorporates gracefully top-of-the-line modern amenities. Each room features a rain shower and environment friendly “Duck Island” bath products and luxurious towels. All beds are equipped with fine linen and exclusive MemoFlex mattresses. Pillow menu available.
Guests can choose breakfast from a menu that includes local specialties, egg dishes or healthy selection. Freshly squeezed orange juice, excellent coffee and selection of teas will be served and refilled throughout breakfast.
